Mayor of the Rivière-des-Prairies—Pointe-aux-Trembles borough since 2010, Chantal Rouleau is known for her experience in sustainable development. Before entering politics, Chantal Rouleau notably worked for Cascade as director of a recycling factory. Her work as director of the comité zone d’intervention prioritaire (ZIP) Jacques-Cartier, where she put into place wastewater treatment for the St-Lawrence River, has been recognized by the Canadian Geographic, who awarded the ZIP the Canadian Environnement Award – Community Award in 2008.

• Revitalize Gouin Boulevard and the bicycle path to improve its quality and attractiveness
• Negotiate with the AMT regarding the usage and management of the linear territory along Victoria Street, from 59th Avenue to the eastern edge of the borough
• Finalize the plan for a public space for the Rivière-des-Prairies area, along with the Maison de la Culture and a community centre
• Accelerate the economic development of the borough by re-launching the development of industrial parks and stimulating commercial growth
