Manuel Guedes has worked in the financial sector since 1990. During that time, he developed a keen sense of customer service in order to offer his clients a superior and unique experience. His position as director of customer relations at the Laurentian Bank of Canada has helped to highlight his key proficiencies such as organizational planning and interpersonal skills. These qualities make him a highly valued volunteer with the Rivière-des-Prairies soccer Club and the Michelangelo School, among others. Mr. Guedes speaks four languages: French, English, Portuguese and Italian.

OUR PRIORITIES FOR THE BOROUGH

• Revitalize Gouin Boulevard and the bicycle path to improve its quality and attractiveness

• Negotiate with the AMT regarding the usage and management of the linear territory along Victoria Street, from 59th Avenue to the eastern edge of the borough

• Finalize the plan for a public space for the Rivière-des-Prairies area, along with the Maison de la Culture and a community centre

• Accelerate the economic development of the borough by re-launching the development of industrial parks and stimulating commercial growth
